The American Housing Club, Privacy Policy covers our treatment of personal information and other information that we collect. Capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the meaning set forth in the Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”). IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY IN THEIR ENTIRETY, YOU MAY NOT ACCESS OR OTHERWISE USE THE American Housing Club WEBSITE AND/OR SERVICES.

CONSENT: By visiting or browsing the American Housing Club website, you consent to the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of Personal Information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. 

PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED: For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” shall mean individually identifiable information from or about an individual. American Housing Club collects personal information primarily when you use or visit the website and/or fill out a form. RELEASE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION: American Housing Club reserves the right to release current or past Personal Information: (i) in the event that American Housing Club believes that the website and/or services is/are being or has/have been used in violation of the Terms Of Use, or to commit unlawful acts; (ii) if the information is subpoenaed; provided, however, that, where permitted by applicable law, American Housing Club shall provide you with e-mail notice, and opportunity to challenge the subpoena, prior to disclosure of any personal information pursuant to a subpoena; or (iii) if American Housing Club is sold, merged or acquired; provided, however, that if American Housing Club is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on the website of any change in ownership or uses of your Personal Information, as well as any choices that you may have regarding your personal information. 

THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND ADVERTISEMENTS: American Housing Club may allow third parties, including our authorized service providers, platform providers, advertising companies and ad networks, to display advertisements and/or links on the American Housing Club website. American Housing Club is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any third-party advertisements and/or website. These third-party websites have separate privacy and data collection practices and American Housing Club has no responsibility or liability relating to them. These companies may use tracking technologies to collect information about users who view or interact with American Housing Club and/or third-party advertisements. This information allows such third parties to deliver targeted advertisements and gauge the effectiveness of such advertisements.

SECURITY: The Personal Information that you provide is stored on servers that are located in secured facilities and protected by protocols and procedures designed to ensure the security of such information. However, no server, computer or communications network or system, or data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while American Housing Club strives to protect user information, American Housing Club cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or through the website and you acknowledge and agree that you provide such information and engage in such transmissions at your own risk.

Only employees or third-party agents who need personal information to perform a specific job function are granted access to Personal Information. 

In compliance with applicable federal and state laws, we shall notify you and any applicable regulatory agencies in the event that American Housing Club learns of an information security breach with respect to your Personal Information. You will be notified via e-mail in the event of such a breach. Please be advised that notice may be delayed in order to address the needs of law enforcement, determine the scope of network damage, and to engage in remedial measures. 

MINORS: Visitors under eighteen (18) years of age (or the applicable age of majority, if greater than eighteen (18) years of age) are not permitted to use and/or submit their personal information at the American Housing Club website. American Housing Club does not knowingly solicit or collect information from visitors under eighteen (18) years of age (or the applicable age of majority, if greater than eighteen (18) years of age). American Housing Club encourages parents and guardians to spend time online with their children and to participate and monitor the interactive activities of their children.

Such communications may be in the form of phone calls, text and/or email and you acknowledge that this communication may be delivered by use of an automated telephone dialer or other automated telephone dialing system and may contain an artificial or prerecorded message.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY: American Housing Club reserves the right to change or update this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a notice on the website indicating changes to the Privacy Policy have been made. 

CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS: This section applies solely to visitors and users who are residents of the State of California, as defined in Section 17014 of Title 18 of the California Code of Regulations. This section is for the purposes of compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”). Any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this section.

If you are a California resident, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits you to request, up to two times each year, access to categories and specific pieces of Personal Information about you that American Housing Club collects, uses, discloses, and sells, and to request the deletion of personal information collected, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

Before completing your request, American Housing Club may need to verify your identity or the identity of your authorized representative. American Housing Club may request additional documentation or information solely for the purpose of verifying identity.

The American Housing Club website, products, and services are not intended to appeal to minors. However, if you are a California resident under the age of 18, and a registered user of the American Housing Club website and/or services, California Business and Professions Code Section 22581 permits you to request and obtain removal of content or information you have publicly posted. To make such a request, please send an e-mail with a detailed description of the specific content or information to info@amerhousingclub.com. Please be aware that such a request does not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of the content or information you have posted and that there may be circumstances in which the law does not require or allow removal even if requested.

In addition to the information provided in this Privacy Policy, American Housing Club  makes the following disclosures for purposes of compliance with the (CCPA), the following are categories of personal information that American Housing Club  has collected in the last 12 months; name, address, IP address, phone number, payment card information associated with you, and inferences drawn from other personal information.

The sources of personal information collected are, directly from your activity on American Housing Club website, third party sites or platforms that you link with, analytics tools, social networks, and advertising networks.

The business or commercial purposes of collecting personal information are described above in the section entitled, “USE OF COLLECTED INFORMATION”. 

American Housing Club disclosed the following categories of personal information for a business purpose in the last 12 months: Identifiers/Contact Information; name, address, IP address, phone number, payment card information associated with you, and inferences drawn from other personal information. 

As the term is defined by the CCPA, American Housing Club “sold” the following categories of personal information in the last 12 months: Identifiers/Contact Information: name, address, IP address, phone number, or similar information. American Housing Club “sold” each category to advertising networks. American Housing Club does not “sell” personal information of known minors under 18 years of age.

American Housing Club does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals or other mechanisms. Third parties may collect personal information about your online activities over time and across sites when you visit the American Housing Club website.
